Honestly, for this trip we spent around MYR9XXX/person (including return flight tickets and accommodation). All the trains and accommodation booking were pre-booked 3-4 months in advance. Our budget wasn’t very impressive, so this trip definitely belongs to the “budget travelers”.
Before we book the flight tickets, we’ve decided that the best starting point would be London (UK) since the flight tickets from Penang → Singapore → London was quite reasonable for both of us. For independent travelers who don’t like to use local travel agents, and prefer to plan your own itinerary like us, this post is for you.

Bus will stop you at the opposite street, cross the road and it’s just 2 minutes’ walk to where the boats dock. Be sure to get on a boat!

So, we assigned 3 days for Paris. We bought the speed train ticket (Eurostar) which took us to Paris from London within just 3 hour 16 minutes. Upon arrival, we used Uber app to book our airport pickup (since we have a total of 7 luggages with us) – it was so easy and convenient. The driver picked us up at the door of our arrival terminal.

The Champs Élysées shopping street is just located near to the famous monument, Arc de Triomphe! To get there, you just need to cross the street and take a photo. Just be on the lookout for cars on each side of the road!
After that we visited Musée du Louvre. The walk around the museum was filled with nature and beauty. However, the museum was super packed like sardines! After we’re done with the museum, we did our final groceries shopping at Franprix followed by a light dinner at Le Louchebem (French Restaurant) around Rue Berger area.

We also spent our final night at the Eiffel Tower since it was quite close to our homestay. You can’t leave Paris without witnessing the sparkling lights of this iconic monument at night! You’ll be able to witness a special moment when seeing the beautiful tower sparkle in the night. We truly enjoyed this view for a few moments, our own private moment in our memory! Love je t'aime!
